¿Que te parece si viajamos?, creo que es la mejor forma de celebrar y de abrir este Nuevo Año. Así que he decidido que quería hablarte de viajar. Puede que al empezar 2014, estes pensando en las experiencias y lugares del mundo que quieres descubrir durante este año; y por eso hoy quiero compartir contigo diferentes lugares que formaron parte de mi viaje del verano pasado, para darte ideas de posibles destinos para ti. Ésta que te cuento es la última parte de mi viaje de vacaciones, (puedes ver la primera parte en Budapest aqui, y en Viena en dos partes, pinchando, la primera aqui y la segunda aqui).

Antes de contarte nuestro próximo destino, y como una forma de expresarte mis mejores deseos para que abras este nuevo año, quiero compartir contigo una campaña que vi hace varios meses, y que aún sigue en mi cerebro. Esta campaña es sobre Gente que abre camino. Personas que tienen actitud, ganas y un sueño. Y eso es lo que te deseo: Actitud para abrir la caja de tus sueños y ganas para tenerlos y compartirlos.

Life is product of your own decisions. If you don´t learn that lesson, and blame people for all your problems you won´t move forward. If you are aware that everything around you is product of your own decision, how you act and your own responsability, then another different life is open for you.

My proposal is a three days roadtrip in Austria, from Salzburg to Innsbruck.

After having a great time in Vienna, my friend Camila and me took the train to meet my cousins Paco and Rocio in Salzburg. Salzburg surprised myself, I have heard about it before, but I have never imagined that way. It is a city with a beautiful surroundings, nature and really charming. Do you imagine how amazing can be now snow-covered?. It seems to me that is a great place for a winter trip. Here you can find some pictures taken by Rocio ( Thanks!, :) ). Después de pasar un tiempo genial en Vienna, mi amiga Camila y yo cogimos un tren para encontrarnos con mis primos Paco y Rocio en Salzburgo. Salzburgo me sorprendio, ya había oido hablar antes de esta ciudad, pero nunca me imagine que fuera así. Es una ciudad rodeada de naturaleza y con mucho encanto. ¿Te imaginas lo bonita que tiene que estar ahora, todo nevado?. Creo que también es un muy buen destino para invierno. After a day in Salzburg, the next one was all about nature, exploring the surroundings. We visited two really nice places that I highly recommend (note that both of them are closed at winter time).
Después de pasar el día en Salzburgo, el segundo día fue día de naturaleza, y de explorar los alrededores. Fuimos a dos lugares que te recomiendo y que me encantaron (ten en cuenta que ambos estan cerrados durante el invierno).
Eisriesemwelt: The Ice Cave/ La Cueva de hielo Eisriesemwelt:
How to say... Awesome, yes, this is the word :). It is great because you can get walking til the cave entrance. My suggestion is to buy the combined ticket, half way walking and half way by cable car, with this option, all the route should take you like three hours in a relaxing mood to enjoy the views and the inside the cave (by the way, keep warm with some clothes, inside is quite cold, hehe ;) )
Increibles, me parecieron alucinantes... Esta genial porque puedes hacer una ruta caminando hasta que llegas a la entrada de la cueva. Te recomiendo que a la hora de comprar las entradas, escojas la opción de mitad andando y mitad en el teleférico, con esta opción y desde el parking te llevará unas tres horas tranquilamente disfrutar de las vistas y del interior de la cueva :) (abrígate un poquito que dentro de la cueva hace rasca, jeje, ;) ).

After enjoying the wonderful nature, you can drive your way not that far to get at Hohe Tauern National Park where you can admire the fifth highest waterfall in the world, called Krimml Waterfalls. I love the ride til get there and then the pathway to reach almost the top of the waterfall.
Y después de disfrutar de lo maravilloso del interior de la naturaleza, puedes coger el coche e ir al parque nacional Hohe Tauern cerquita de allí, donde puedes admirar la quinta catarata mas alta del mundo. Su nombre es Krimml Waterfalls. Me gusto el camino en coche hasta llegar allí y después el paseo por el parque hasta alcanzar una de las partes mas altas de la catarata.

After a day walking in nature, my proposal is keep moving to Alpbach, a beautiful village. On the way to Alpbach you will amazed by the mountains, the valleys and the little village cross by. Once we arrived we had dinner (Austrian food) in a nice terrace in front of the church. While we were eating, such a coincidence people celebrated on the street a popular festival with music included (a picture below :) ).

You can take advantage of being there and book accommodation in a farm :).
Puedes aprovechar y como alojamiento puedes reservar en una granja, hay varias en los alrededores :).
Y para el tercer día de viaje, cogimos el coche para ir a Innsbruck. Innsbruck es la capital del Tirol Austriaco y al igual que Salzburgo, me encanto por los alrededores :). Si eres amante del esqui y de la ropa de deporte, éste es tu lugar!, :).

Here the end of the roadtrip and the last part of my summer trip :).
Note: for what it´s worth, I came back to Spain from Munich, you can easily get there taking a train from Innsbruck to Munich Airport).
Y aqui llega el final, tanto de éste viaje en carretera como de mi viaje de vacaciones :).
Nota: Si te sirve de ayuda, yo para volver a España cogi un tren de Innsbruck a Munich, que esta muy cerca y desde alli volé a Madrid :).
